4g is absolutely terrible. I've just driven across from Dover to Newquay right across the south of England and had barely 1 bar all day every day. Please tell me this isn't normal. By the way, 5g.. absolutely forget it. Not a chance.

Hello, Ed.
Yeah, I'd say that's not normal if you've travelled all that way and had 1 bar the entire time. You'd be travelling through areas where signal is strong, and some where it's weaker. Generally the phone would show signal that goes up and down when going through these areas. If yours is just staying weak all the time, it's usually an indication that the phone is having an issue.
It might be worth trying your SIM in another device if possible, to compare how they are.

It's definitely not the phone. Just spent 3 months driving through remote areas of Europe (10 different countries) the 4 and 5g signal was excellent
Friday
so is this a problem with UK mobile network operators or Three?
Saturday
I would say Three. I'm with a friend who's on EE and he has 3 bars
Sunday
Next time you're with someone, a good way to test would be to ask them if you can try your SIM in their phone to see how it looks in there. Or if they are on Three already, you can skip that step and see how there connection is doing.

Look at this, it says I should have excellent signal, but just look at the signal bar at the top

They always blame the phone as pushes back.
Just try another sim from another network - most often see is not the phone.
