5g down all day on phone but working on 5g hub

since this morning I am not getting 5G on my mobile device in my area.

the home broadband which is provided by a 5G hub is working fine.

I have reset my network settings. I have made sure that 5G is picked as recommendation and I have also reset the APN and yet after 12 hours I'm still connected only to 4G with two bars

I went online to speak to support on all I got was incompetence which seems to be the norm from tech support. as someone who has been in technology for over 35 years, as well as an ex installer or phone lines, pool bands, computer networks, and help desk roles, I just can't believe the incompetence of people from their tech support.

I clearly explained to them the situation and half a dozen things I have been trying and all I got was the questions. one after each other exactly what I just told him like they were weeding from a script

So what a absolute joke their call centre is. I was told Monday Tuesday and Wednesday morning there was no problem in my area after wasting 35 minutes each time on live chat.. Wednesday afternoon I was told that there was a problem in my postcode and that to fix the problem they would have to send me out a new SIM card. BS right?

Anyway, four hours later my phone that had been showing 4G for three days has now gone back to showing 5G. So just proves it wasn't a Sim card problem and people sorry to say that sound like they're in India do not know what they're talking about.
