Both my husband and I haven’t been able to make or receive calls. No way this can keep going on!

Hello @Angryuser1,

We completely understand your frustration with not being able to make or receive calls.

Please try to complete a full reset of your network settings and let us know if this helps. 

If you have Apple devices, you can do this via the following steps:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network settings.

On an Android device, you can reset network settings via the following:

Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile, and Bluetooth (or Reset network settings). Then, tap Reset settings and confirm. 

Please note: Resetting network settings will also remove saved Wi-Fi passwords and Bluetooth connections.

The same thing is happening to me too. I thought my phone was old so got a new one and still cannot receive calls or make them.

I called 3 and was walked through to recovering my Network via settings. And it seemed to have worked. 

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network settings

Whilst I gave this as a solution, it worked for a little while but has now stopped working and I have a brand new phone

That's really disappointing, I'm sorry to hear these disruptions are continuing for you. What model of phone are you using? Can you see any known issues in your area with our Network Status Checker?

Have you tried switching your phones off and then on again? There are no national issues affecting calls at this time,also check the status page for any issues local to you.
