Help with mobile

I am not too savvy on this as I am a pensioner, I recently moved , not getting broadband installed til 18th July I think . 
meanwhile I can not use my Mobil. Put more data I. But still not working. Can someone help me.

Hi @Bridget61,

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with using your data, we'll do our best to help.

Without knowing precisely what's happening the first things I'd suggest to look at is our Network Status Checker, this will let you know if there's any local issues we're aware of and working on.

You can also find help on our Device Support pages, pop over there, find your model of phone, and choose the most appropriate section in the "fix a problem" tab.

If you're still no further forward, here's some suggestions on info to add which may help narrow down the issue and how to help.

  • Are you using PAYG or Pay Monthly?
  • Is the issue definitely just with data, or are calls/texts affected too?
  • How does the signal look on your phone, is it full, 1 or 2 bars, or no service? Can you see 3G/H/4G, or 5G? 
  • What model of phone do you use?
  • What happens when you try to use data e.g. loading a browser page or connecting to an app? If there are any error messages can you let us know what they say?

I too am a pensioner and will help all I can but you do need to elaborate a little more please as guesswork is not my strongpoint,
