No data with full 4G signal

Skirrow
Fledgling

So recently I've stopped getting data on my unlimited data plan. I use tethering for my Internet and have never had a problem till 5 days ago. Calls and testing seem fine although there are some new drop it's that happen on occasion, again starting at about the same time.

In order to use data I have to wait until the signal drops out completely and phone connects to a different mast. About a mile away which will give me poor 5G reception but at least it works., but after roughly 30 minutes it seems like the closest cell phone tower "reboots" and my phone will connect to that one sibce it has the best signal (although only 4G). This tower is about 50 yards from my home. But data still shuts not work. It's not just me. My neighbours and friends have the same problem regardless of network. If I move a quarter mile down the road then I

I don't know who to contact about this since it's a shared tower. Google suggested my mobile provider so here I am.

How do I get this sorted? as I don't want to have to park at the local Tesco just to check my email.

I'm in Darfield, Barnsley with what appears to be the only 4G mast in miles.

Hello, Skirrow.

Welcome to Three Community.

It sounds like there might be a fault, or perhaps some work taking place on the local mast. The service status page should be able to confirm.

You could also try turning 5G off to see if forcing the device to remain on the 4G mast improves the stability.

Pete.
