The best first step is to reset the network settings. The option to do that is usually found in the Settings menu, under Reset. You can find handy steps like these on our Device support pages.
If she's still stuck, then let us know a little more about what's happening:
Is she seeing that message when trying to open a web browser and use data?
Or is it something she hears when trying to make a call?
If it's a call, is it happening with a particular number or any she tries?
Finally, is your daughter using her phone in the UK, or is she travelling? If she's away, what country is she in?
