This is now day 4 of no service in my area. Downtime checker keeps saying there is a problem in area WA11 St Helens and its not being resolved. No one can tell me when it will be fixed. Can only use phone by connecting to wi fi this is totally unacceptable is anyone else having same problem

It's disappointing to hear you're having issues with your connection there. In some cases, the team are unable to provide a specific fix date, or estimate. This can happen for a few different reasons, such as if the issue is complex, or if engineers are still looking into it.
The support team will do their best to share what information they have though, but in some cases all they can do is ask you to wait a set amount of time to see what changes. I'm glad to hear you have Wifi at home though, as this should keep you connected while the issue is being worked on.
