Since the merger with Vodafone, my signal has been terrible, struggle to make phone calls with 90% of them cutting off saying network busy. And my 5g speeds have been terrible. I'm paying for a service that I can't use

I travel around the middle of the country for work, Yorkshire to Shropshire, and it is absolutely terrible everywhere since the merger. I need to use my phone for calls on the go, my satnav, and for music and all just keep dropping out on routes I have been using without issues for the last 4 years.
Everyone I know is having issues, and more people if you Google it, so please stop shrugging it off as a local issue.
It’s totally unacceptable.

Agree. In Skelmersdale we have had 5g withdrawn at my postcode, confirmed on the coverage checker. It was super strong up to a couple of months ago but now not officially available. Now the speeds are appalling and no data connectivity most of the time.

Glad I dumped my Three 5G mobile broadband last year and went with full fibre instead. It had been super fast and reliable for 18 months, but then suddenly was very unstable for more than 2 weeks impacting my ability to work or stream, so it got cancelled. If I was still using it now, I would have been totally unable to work from home for the last 6 - 8 weeks and no end in sight.
Now there's next to no signal at all. Data speeds are at ADSL levels and calls are almost impossible to make 90% of the time. If they don't get their act together soon the phone contract will be going the same way. Three (and Vodafone) are totally tone deaf and from what I've read here, in denial, embarking on the victim blaming tactics, wasting people's time checking / resetting network settings and pretending they aren't changing the mast numbers and locations which is having a very visible negative impact on a lot of people. In fact - its worse than that because they're shouting about how they have made the network better and more accessible for Three and Vodafone customers. I've yet to hear anybody saying their netwok is stronger, faster and accessible from more places than before. A simple google reveals the extend of the widespread dissatisfaction and people leaving in droves.

Home broadband user. DN34****. (grimsby - bargate area)
Used to connect to B1, B3, and N78 and a 2nd N78. That has for a year givent consistent 425 to over 600mbps down and around 30mbps up. Fast ping.
The last couple of weeks I think?? it will no longer ever connect to both instances of the 5G's N78 so we now get B1, B2, B20, and N78. Downloads frequently less than 80mbps and its slow starting and eratic. At quiet times and MAYBE after a reboot it might struggle up to 170 for a few secs after a while. Uploads often 10 to 13mbps. Ping is slower. So somethings changed. Please fix it!!! Or I see starlink in my future.
