I upgraded my phone and collected in the Three store. When I was there, they asked what I wanted to do with my old phone, I told them I was going to sell it. They insisted on trading it in with Three for a reliable and hassle free value, HA!

I sent my phone as advised by the people working in the Three Store as a loyal customer, I assumed they would be trustworthy. Straight away I was sent an email with a QR code with the instructions of how to send the phone (the sooner the better it stated for the value) I was guaranteed a promotional value of £306. I sent it on 05/03/25 and it was delivered by the Royal Mail tracked on 06/03/25. No communications from anyone. It's been a week, still nothing to confirm. I spoke to Three Live Chat and phoned them, all of the customer service team told me to contact Ingram as it's not their issue and gave me their contact details. They also opened a complaint which was closed less than 30mins later as they can't resolve my issue.

I was told my package has been delivered to Three however it's up to me to speak to Ingram to organise a quote and find out what's happening. It's a complete shambles. I am a student who needed the money from my device I've spent years of money paying off to Three and this is how they handle this? 

Ingram disconnect their calls all the time so you can't get through and finally I got an answer and the man "couldn't hear me" honestly gutted, I don't want to give up. I want my device back or my money!!!

 

Does anyone have any tips on how they managed to eventually get paid??? I tried to threaten legal action into the live chat but they did not care.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with our Trade in partner Ingram.

Just to check, have you received an email confirming they have received the device and payment would be made to you by a certain date? 

When you spoke with our team at Three, were they able to confirm the device had been received by Ingram at all?
