Trade in no payment received - scam?

Already raised a complaint a week ago and no response. Sent old phone for trade in, payment was meant to be sent on 18th of October and no money as been sent to me. Emailed the trade in line and no response. Spoke to three which were useless and palmed me off onto the trade in helpline, sat on the phone for over an hour till it was answered, when I finally got through they had no explanation for why this has happened and said they’d pass it onto management, three days later and I am still awaiting payment 

 

I know others are facing the same issue, has anyone’s been resolved? 
I am also disgusted at the service and customer care along with the lack of communication. 
I will not be using three again due to this mess up and complete scam

I got An Email from 3 trade in that they were processing my payment on the 21/02/25 and it is 04/03/25 still no payment into my bank account thinking of raising the matter with trading standards trying to get through to the phone number they gave is impossible as it was ringing for over 40 minutes I hung up I have sent a few emaisl to them but as yet no response it took from the 12/02/25 to the 21/02/25 to actually admit they had recieved the phone I rang 3 up and they said it is up to 3 trade in to pay the money into my account through 3 by the way cos that's when my bank account details are it's outrageous and I definitely won't be using 3 ever again cos this seams to be a scam I've been with 3 for over a decade and never had a problem the last time I traded a phone in two years ago was all done in the 3 store

I'm having the same issue. I received an email confirmation trade in was accepted £360 and payment could take 5 working days. They was the 31st January. That was 21 days ago. I've called the trade in team multiple times and no answer. I got through to customer support and that was an hour of my life I won't get back as the guy was hopeless ,kept asking for the IMEI number for the phone I traded in . Once my contract is over I will be leaving 3

Money was paid 5th march. I put 2 complaints in and the only response was your complaint has been delt with and now closed. On the 31st Jan I was told upto 5 working days for my money. I've not been told why you breached your own policy's , why over a month for my money .the complaints department is a joke the trade in team won't answer unless you bombard them with emails and the response is go to three directly. I waisted hours on the phone or writing emails just to get fobbed off at every corner . I reached a point where I wish I never joined Three mobile

I'm owed £556 and waiting to be paid too. I have received an email 9 days ago that the payment is being process and please allow 3-5 working days. I've sent my phone over a month ago. I can't get hold of anyone when I try calling them and it takes them over a week to respond to any email. I'm kind of loosing my hope here.

Hello Arleta. 

It's disappointing to hear you're still waiting on you refund. It looks like the process is going through more slowly than I'd normally expect. I'm not sure what would be causing that, but if the cash transfer part is running slower as well, it could be on it's way still. It might be worth reaching out to Ingram Micro on one of the contact options on the  support page so that the team can give further advice on it.
