The message to explain that I should see performance improvements in my area since Vodafone and 3 have merged. I have noticed a slight uptick in download speed but conversely my Upload speed has completely tanked to about 2 Mb. I use a 5G router(Although 4G is only available in my area sadly ). I have moved my router around To try to resolve the issue with no success. The reduction in Upload speed lines up with the ‘upgrade’ time. Please could somebody look into this? Postcode KT9 . My router is connected to CELL ID 1268480

we have around 80 business connections on Three UK and the upload speed is soo poor since July our app does not upload photos we are having to use the engineers home broadband to upload business data. If this is not resolved soon im off to another network this is unworkable.

We have around 80 connections on three with engineers all over the country and it is affecting our business because the upload speed is so weak the pictures and information that gets uploaded times out. Latency very high. What is going on Three.

Hi @Goldfield1,
I'm sorry to hear that your service has been disrupted lately. Do you recall what sort of upload speeds you were receiving beforehand? Can you let me know a little about how this is impacting your use of the service too?
I'll PM you to get more precise location info.

Hi Jonathon,
thank you for taking the time to check any potential issues. per PM chat, for whatever reason, as of today the upload speed has now picked up again to around 20-25mb (tested on both 3 and Smarty). I can only assume there was an unreported issue somewhere. I will keep an eye on it over the next week.
many thanks.
Greg

Follow up to this... upload speed has crashed again to about 0.5 - 3mb/s. It seems to be all over the place.

Hi @Goldfield1,
I'm really sorry the issue have returned so quickly after we discussed them seeming to have been resolved. Has there been any improvements in the last few days?
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,
sorry for the slow reply. it seems to be sporadic. @PeteG to your comment, I will try to see if there is a pattern. During the day, definitely. Currently upload is about 2Mbps. (2pm UK)
I will see if i can see a pattern... thank you

Hi @Goldfield1,
No worries on the delay. I can't see any open faults or maintenance work on my system in the meantime. Have you spoken to our support teams on the phone or chat about this? If so were they able to provide any info about any issues in the area?
Thanks,
Jonathan

It sounds like an intermittent fault, or perhaps congestion. Monitoring the connection speed results at multiple points of the day for a week should give you an idea of what it is. Intermittent faults will usually be all over the place. Congestion usually has a pattern, like specifics times of day.
Pete.
