Vodafone network - broken promises

HonestJoe

In received a text advising that three would use Vodafone network.

I contacted three last year because this was not the case (Vodafone signal was far superior to Three)

A few months later and still the same poor Three signal.

Were these all lies?

I wouldn't say lies, but certainly jumping the gun by advertising it and send out texts.  There are still lots of places that Multi-Operator Core Network (MOCN) has not yet been enabled, despite the vodafone "signal" being displayed on the Three Signal Checker and sending SMS saying is it enabled.

Also many customers are confused and mistakenly think that their device will say connected to vodafone, this is not the case.  In MOCN enabled areas your device will show connected to 3 just with the improved signal via the vodafone mast and manually trying to connect to vodafone will not work either!

No ! There’s an old saying “Rome (and mobile masts) won’t be built in a day. Down here in the Thames valley my 5g coverage has vastly improved. People like you throwing stupid remarks asking if the network is telling lies certainly amused me when I read it and I thank you for that.
