As of today (20th June 2025) its 137 days since my Three broadband was activated and I've still not received the £50 gift card which was part of the original offer to me and which should have been available 90 days after activation. It appears to me that giftcloud.com or Three are not hounouring the £50 gift card and that I shall have to write this off as a bad experience.
My Three 5G Home broadband was activated on 3rd Feb 2025 and it works fine. I signed up to the service via an offer on the website www.fasterbroadband.co.uk/broadband-deals for which there was a promotional £50 gift card on offer which would be received 90 days after activation of the Three broadband. Having signed up I received email notifcation from Gift Cloud confirming the gift card and the email contained a token code to use when contacting them in case of any problems. After the 90 day period had elapsed I hadn't received the gift card so on 12th May 2025 I contacted giftcloud.com who took details of my Three order number, account number as well as the website that I placed the order through. Since then I've had various responses from giftcloud.com each saying that they are still investigating. The initial response from giftcloud.com stated (39 days ago):
Just to give you some more information on how we work, when you sign up for an offer,a your reward is tracked and usually automatically captured by the brand and then your voucher is issued, sometimes what can happen is your reward code is not captured, this is usually if your cookies haven't tracked properly, and that is why your reward might not have been sent. On occasions like this we take these details you supply and pass them onto the brand you signed up with who then check your details within their system and confirm if you are eligible for this reward manually. We will get in touch as soon as we hear back, this can sometimes take up to 20 working days to get a response, we appreciate your patience.
There is currently (20th June 2025) a similar offer this time including a £60 gift card for new customers of Three via the website www.fasterbroadband.co.uk but the relability of these offers of gift cards is questionable based on my experience.
