Absolutely not worth it!

I switched to three over 6 months ago thinking it’s better than lebara, but it absolutely is not. I have an unlimited sim plan worth 30 pounds every month! But absolutely no service in almost all the places. The network is so bad even 4g doesn’t work at all. I spoke to customer service so many times, did everything they asked me to, but the result? Nothing at all. 

Very disappointing and disheartening to pay every month. Unlimited data was what I wanted for work purposes, but even calling is a big issue with 3 network. And no way to get out of the contract or reduce the monthly plan other than paying 500 pounds for it. I am suffering due to them, please don’t get it, options like giffgaff that my friends use have better network coverage than theirs!

Apologies that this wasn't followed up on sooner. I'm sorry to see you've had these service issues since joining Three.

Have you found that the reduced coverage has continued in the past few weeks? Please check on the Network and Coverage status to see if any known issues or work has been identified.

If you've found that there has been no improvement and that no temporary network issues or work is taking place, please connect with Customer Services and we can look at options for your account.

Just to put a different viewpoint across, I find Three's coverage to be generally excellent, and vastly improved from a few years back

I do not think so, since I expect it to work around trafalgar square or in the main city where I work.

Easy to say now but you obviously hadn’t checked coverage in the area you were going to use your phone before switching.🤷‍♂️

Yes I agree, should have done that before making the big mistake. I got a new handset + sim plan from them, so I assumed it would be for the best, turns out it is not.

Fingers crossed that when you can use Vodafone sites things might improve for you.🤞
