Cant see "Order eSIM " option

JohnnyBoy
Fledgling

as an existing customer Ive just upgraded to an Unlimited Data plan and want to order an Esim. I am following the instructions on both the app and My3 but both see to go into a loop with no option to either order a replacement SIM or eSIM. Any suggestions ?.

Hi @JohnnyBoy,

If you'd like to order an eSIM, you can do this on the Three app through the following steps:

Account > Help > SIM support > Replace a SIM.

This may then open another page that asks you to sign in again for security reasons.

Once you do this, it'll take you to a dashboard. You can then navigate at the bottom of the screen to:

Plan > scroll all the way down until you see 'Replace SIM' and tap 'Get a replacement SIM'.

You'll then be able to select eSIM and the replacement reason.

Once you've done this, you'll get an email with the activation details.

Thanks,
Michael

Go to your plan details either via the app or online and you’ll see an option to order a replacement sim. There you can order an eSIM which will be sent immediately and can be activated there and then.

There are few ‘got yous’ to be aware of

1/ make sure the login to you three app works before order esim ( as sometimes the login to the app requires a txt pin to login - if your old sim is deactivated, you won’t be able to retrieve the esim

2/ they say will also send by email ( this may work for you - email did not arrive for me.

3/ the esim is a QR code - so you either need to print it or scan from another device ( as cannot add it directly)

4/ if you can, I suggest login to Three account from another device - stay logged in ( then you will have both access to the esim QR code & able to scan it.

cheers

The eSIM is only a Q/R code on Android not iOS It’s called seamless sim. If calling customer service and asking them to email an eSIM to you simply stay on the phone to them until the email arrives. Personally I’ve not had any issues with the process.
