I have recently just started a contract with Three and I used a PAC code but could I cancel using this code and just have my number instead?

Hi @beccawhite229,

PAC codes usually get locked in on the system very quickly. If the port was scheduled for a few days time rather than the default of the next working day then customer services might be able to stop this.

It's not necessarily the best course of action though, if a PAC isn't used then your line with the old provider will stay active and you'll need to contact them again to arrange to cancel the old account.

If you specifically wanted the new number we first gave you with the contract this might not be possible, but if you just want a random new number, then customer services can do this at any time.

Generally number changes are free if you're receiving nuisance or spam calls, we may apply an admin fee for repeat requests though.

Hope this helps,
Jonathan

I think you can request a new number, you may need to think of a good reason.
