Phone saying 80% of data used

I have had an SMS saying 80% of my data has been used, but my phone and 3+ say I have 5GB left of my monthly allowance (I'm on a 8GB plan)!

Is this a known error?

That's strange. It could be that the message was triggered in error. Assuming you're just using it in the UK, the data will stop automatically once it runs out, so there's no need to worry about going over it. I'd recommend continuing to use it normally, but if you'd like to double check, the support team on chat or by calling would be able to confirm for you.

Pete.

Hi @Theojorts,

Has your Data Allowances synced up on the Three App when you check now? It may also be worth logging in on Three.co.uk to check if there's a discrepancy between the two?

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hello there.

That's odd. The website can sometimes take a bit of time to update your usage. Is it possible you used a few GB prior to getting the text? Have you tried checking the data usage tracker built into your mobile phone to see where it lands in terms of usage?

Pete.
