Scam or not?

Hi guys I’m sure it is a scam , but I’m new to three and received a call from 0333 338 1302 I can’t find anything for it and just want to confirm my suspicions  if anyone knows let me know please , 

it says an exclusive customer offer hence my suspicions

It's certainly possible this could be genuine, as we do use 03 numbers in that format. Unfortunately "spoofing" is more and more prevalent, which is where scammers fake the number they're calling from. Most give themselves away as they call from 01, 02, or 07 numbers which wouldn't be used by organisations like Three as those are personal landlines and mobiles.

The only way to be 100% certain is to get in touch, and customer services will have notes on your account if we've been trying to reach you.

It is borderline harrassment how often this number calls me. I have called 3 back asking about the calls to which they denied & advised they never call customers. I have decided to not renew the contract with 3 again a couple days ago following this harassment. I unfortunately kept the same number with my new provider & guess who is still harassing. I wish I could add voicemails one of them left named ‘priyanka from the 3 network’ & a screenshot of how often they call me daily (atleast twice). I have now blocked them! See how long it takes them to try on another spoof number.

Scammers can spoof a number and pretend that they are calling from a legitimate entity.Spoofed numbers are designed to fool people into believing they’re getting calls from a legitimate company. If you’ve blocked the number, then you should all be good and if you’ve spoken to Three and they say that they haven’t been trying to call you well, that is confirmation that the number is probably from a scammer.You should report this to Action Fraud because if you’ve spoken to Three and they say it’s not them, it’s clearly a company or an individual trying to defraud you and that’s obviously a crime.

I received a call from Clearview Communications regarding contract renewal for the new 3Vodafone entity.  Is this legitimate?

That call wouldn't have been arranged by Three. It would be best to block the number. If you've shared any details with the person and would like to have your Three account checked, pop through to the support team.

As far as a Google Search goes that company manufactures security systems and has nothing to do with renewing a Three UK contract!

I keep being called by that number every four hours but when i answer no one speaks
