Setting up voicemail and don’t want to record name or personal greeting

Fledgling

I am setting up my account and it’s asks me to:

  • Enter a PIN
  • Record my name
  • Record a personal greeting for all calls

I have entered a PIN but want to keep the standard greeting. It’s 2023 verging 2024 there must be an option as there is with Vodafone to keep the standard greeting where the voicemail reads your phone number?

Can someone look at this for me please?

Thank you

When you record your name just press the # key after two seconds leaving it blank. That's what I do.

So when callers reach my voicemail it'd says Sorry__can't take your call right now just leave a message after the tone.

It's silly that you have to do this especially since Three's voicemail service has been upgraded but that's always been a rule even with the last two systems Three had.

Once you have recorded your name you cannot change it. You can change the message and different messages for different occasions. I suggest you call your number and see what the default message is. I would not record your name but your phone number.
