Suspicious call claiming to be from three

I recieved a call today from a private number claiming to be from three. They said it was to upgrade my plan as I'd previously been declined for a new device plan. They claimed on the phone that I could now get a phone, but I had to get back to work and said they call back later that day, noone returned the call and now the more I think about it, the more I'm considering it to be a fraudulent call. Do three ever phone on a private number ?

No, Three wouldn't call from a withheld number. The call doesn't sound like it was from Three. Since you had to get back to work, I'm hopeful you didn't share your account information with the caller.
