Upgrade failure

So much for customer loyalty. I’ve been with 3 since 2004, from their pay as you go days up to having several contracts. Only to be told I can’t upgrade as promised because my credit check failed. After a period of health issues yes my credit is in the dirt, but the fact that multiple years and multiple contracts now no longer count for anything is shocking.
Thanks to the issues I’ve had I can’t even go to another provider either. So I’m stuck, I can’t even guarantee I can change my contract to something cheaper either.

Don't take it personally, I and many others with perfect credit scores are also being declined. I think they have a strategy to dump lower value customers, so if you don't spend enough better start looking to switch because loyalty, good credit score and perfect payment history count for nothing with Three.

Hope you get something sorted @mageofmarkath

Loyalty counts for nothing in corporate land;nor should it. People come on here and play the woe is me card when in many cases they’re not surprised to have failed the credit check but think that being a long term customer means they’ll get the nod so as to speak. The real world doesn’t work like that. Three is a business;you pay your money each month and you get access to the network. Beyond that there are no guarantees.
