When calling Three options system is useless

Fledgling

I was looking to buy a new phone from Three, but a PAYG phone: I already have a sim contract. So I go to the shop, click on 'PAYG' phones, look through the list of Apple phones available and the various prices, click on on, then get taken through to the next page - where I am asked to 'choose a plan'. But I don't want a effing plan! I have one, THAT'S why I was looking through PAYG phones!

So I've just called 333 to speak to someone and get taken through an interminable list of options, NONE of which is relevant. How can we get through to someone without jumping through hoops all the effing time. Think of your customers, Three, if it wasn't for us you would not make a penny!

NB Even the list of 'labels' from which we are asked to choose it effing irrelevant.

Did you even read my post? It doesn't seem so: "As you already have an Airtime plan, looking at standalone devices may prompt the addition of an Airtime plan, as this is a requirement to also take when purchasing a new Device plan or upgrading to one".

I made it VERY clear that I ONLY wanted to buy a standalone phone. And you know I 'already have an Airtime plan' and DON'T want to take out a new one, so why did you even bother responding? Your comment is less than useful, a complete waste of your time and mine.

IF I wanted a new plan, I would go for a new plan, but from what I write it is 110% obvious that I do not want a new plan. Did you not get that? Do you need it one a wall in bright pink 10ft high letters?

AND why do THREE seemingly offer for sale PAYG phones make it "a requirement to also take when purchasing a new Device plan or upgrading to one". So, we can't buy a phone without taking out a plan we don't want! Does that make any sense to anyone here. Why the requirement? It's very clear: to screw more money out of the punter.

Christ you guys are gang of effwits. Hint: effing read a post properly before adding your two ha'porth worth! Effing read my first post again and see if you can't add something a lot more useful.

Hello @pfgpowell,

Welcome to the Three Community.

To confirm, are you aiming to buy a phone outright, or on a Pay Monthly agreement? If the latter, you can look at upgrading to a new Device Plan and Airtime.

As you already have an Airtime plan, looking at standalone devices may prompt the addition of an Airtime plan, as this is a requirement to also take when purchasing a new Device plan or upgrading to one.

Do you see an option to upgrade via My3? Please feel free to also connect with our Upgrades team chat during business hours and we can help with upgrading.

Thanks,
Michael
