Can't log into 5g hub. Get message-message-maximum number of login account has reached. Any idea of resolving this?

I have had this issue a couple of times and a restart of the router is the only way I have been able to fix it.

No reason why the account should be locking out as not entered a password incorrectly and it’s not exposed externally.

it would be better for the account lockout to expire after say 10 mins.

There does seem to be a bug though for this to be happening.

Hi @Groundrat,

Did you try a restart like @crypt0ninja suggested? If that didn't work I think you'd need to factory reset the router. Let us know if either of those suggestions helped.

I'm assuming this is an issue logging into the admin pages for your router, if I've misunderstood please le me know.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi @Groundrat,

I've heard of others having this issue over at ISPReview forums but I've never had it myself and I'm constantly logging into the panel from my PC and also mobile phone lol

The guys that had the issue had to restart the router in order to be able to log in again.

Are you logging in/getting this error via the web portal or the Three Broadband app? I don't use the app at all and don't get this problem so wondering if its to do with that maybe...

Maybe @JonathanB can ask the firmware team to have a look at this to see if there's any way to reduce the frequency of this happening and/or give the user the option to set the login counts and timeout in the admin portal (the login times out way too soon its so annoying having to keep frequently refreshing the page to keep the login active and prevent the timeout).

Cheers
