5g indoor but not outdoor (NEIGHBOUR HAS IT)

Hi, I'm really baffled by this.

Been in touch with three regarding my current 5g router. Somethings 100% faulty on it with the signal it's picking up, was perfectly fine before but they're refusing to replace it.

So I speak to my neighbour who's using the 5g outdoor hub currently and he highly recommends it, so I decide to get in contact, I'm being told that it's not available to me as the systems say so.

it doesn't make any sense, if my neighbour has it why can't i? I know for a fact that it'd work in the area as i've had to adapt to an outdoor aeral to bypass the issue with my hub (which again they won't replace/swap me to the newer one)

 

How can outdoor not be available to me but is to my next door neighbour?

Hello, Kane. 

It's disappointing to hear you're having issues and can't get the replacement outdoor hub. There are checks that the Broadband team run in order to determine what hardware should be provided, or if broadband can be supplied at all. It's not possible to determine from here what the reason for not supplying an outdoor replacement would be. 

It's also possible that while investigating the hub you're currently having issues with, the team didn't reach the conclusion that it was faulty, this is something that would also result in it not being replaced. 

All I can recommend is to speak to the team again about the issues you're having, in the hopes they can figure out what's going on. The team might also be able to give more insight into why they are unable to provide an outdoor hub.
