Hello, maybe someone here can help. I'm absolutely losing my mind trying to connect a 2nd generation ring doorbell with my hub.
I've checked the settings as best I can I have 2.4hz available. It just will NOT connect. I have the same trouble with nintendo switch not connecting either. This is the whole reason I got the broadband 🤦♀️.
I also cannot get into my settings on the 3 app. Every time I put in the password it just says its wrong. I have reset the hub. Turned everything off and on.
Tearing my hair out nearly now!
Any help appreciated

Hi @StrawberryShC,
I wonder if this may be similar to some of the issues mentioned in this thread FYI : IPv6 Prevented VPN Connection although it's primarily about a VPN issue, the solution mentioned about setting an APN for IPv4 only has helped some customers with connecting Nintendo Switch devices, I can't recall if anyone has mentioned Ring devices on the Community before now.
The thread I've linked was concerning a different router, but essentially you'd be looking in the router admin for APN settings, from there this is usually similar for most devices, set a manual profile and fill in:
APN: 3internet
Username and password: leave these blank
PDP type: IPv4 OR IPv4 only
If you're having trouble finding the relevant settings, the Broadband team can also usually set an IPv4 profile up on their end if you get in touch. Let me know if this helps!
Thanks,
Jonathan

If you temporarily remove security setting on router, does it then work?
If so you're using incorrect p/word/ security settings.
