TLDR: My3 Android app won't process MC888AD router admin login even though password works on browser
Here is a random error to report. New router received; unpacked, installed, etc. Likely a return but seemed fine so went with it anyway. Connected to hub via phone wifi fine but unable to log in to Hub admin side via the app / manage broadband function to complete the installation. Tried the same via a web browser - same error with password not identified. The printed password was fairly simple in terms of no obvious misread characters 0 vs O, etc.
1 point of note - through the app, failing the app login at the password stage isn't reducing the amount of attempts remaining. Failing in the browser did count down the attempts remaining.
I returned the Hub after a call with technical support and have a new one. I have encountered the same error using the My3 app. However, the browser option worked and I can access the hub fine. I've changed the password, etc but still can't log in through the My3 app.
Any ideas - this is on a pixel 9a android, most up to date My3 app versions, etc.

Thanks @JonathanB - that was my impression too once the fault was isolated to the My3 app on the new HB hub.

Thanks for reporting this. I've received info that this is an app issue. We're expecting this to be fixed in the next few days. Keep an eye out for your Three App receiving an update over the weekend and let us know if this fixes the issue.
