I have been assured that 5g shows on the router as connected by a white LED. I'm only getting 4g and THREE have insisted it's 5g - but it isn't. Am I paying for something they can't deliver?

Sorry to hear this, I'll be happy to have a check into the situation. Can you let me know which router you have? The Device Support section on our website should help if you're not sure which model it is.
If you have a look at our Coverage Checker this should help clear up if we expect there to be 5G coverage in your area. Let me know how this looks for your postcode.

Have you checked your download speeds? 5g speed will obviously surpass 4g.
