Hi all,
purchased a Amazon fire stick (wifi6) and started the set up process. Fire stick found my internet, so tried to connect by typing in password. But keeps failing.. a message in red says ‘connection to Wi-Fi failed, try again’ I have tried like 100 times, ensured password is correct, and turned off modem and took out fire stick, and tried again. But same message keeps coming up ! Any idea what could be the problem?? Soo frustrating !
Fire stick supports WiFi 6, and I’m sure I read three supports Wi-Fi 6. So what’s the problem???

I’ve had issues similar to this but not with a Firestick. I’ve cured it by pressing and holding the reset button on the router thereby returning it to factory settings. That will mean that your WiFi password (if you’ve changed it) will revert to what’s printed on the router label. You can always change it again if you wish. The fact that the firestick found your internet leads me to be reasonably confident that this action will likely solve your problem.
