ZTE MC888 - the three signal lights flash while downloading

Hey there, I recently received the ZTE MC888AD hub and I've noticed today that when I'm downloading something, the three signal lights on the front of the router will flash on and off in unison. Stopping the download with cause the lights to go back to reading the signal strength as normal. I hadn't noticed this before (may i just missed it) and I cant find an explanation in the documentation so I was just wondering if this is normal and if not, what is it indicating? Cheers

Hey there, thanks for the response Jonathan. I managed to fix this by giving the router a proper ten minute off and on and the function of the signal lights went back to normal. Download speeds and behaviour were totally normal at the time, it was just like the function of the LEDs had switched to show a download was happening oppose to showing signal strength. I had put an ethernet cable in earlier that day which is the only thing i can think that might have brought it on. Weird one, it hasn't happened again at least lol

No worries, but very odd. I guess the full reboot must have cleared some cached settings info. Let us know if it seems to come back or if you notice any other issues.

I've had a look at our support info for that hub, and the three signal lights should generally be stable to my understanding, as they indicate the overall signal strength. So it's pretty odd that they're flashing in unison, not "stepping" up/down to indicate a fluctuating signal?

Are you noticing any other odd behaviour at the time, for instance are the speeds of the downloads themselves fluctuating, or is there any signs that your connection is unstable at the time?
