A month now waiting for a phone that I paid for to get delivered from Three.

Fledgling

Today marks four weeks since I received an iPhone 16 with a new contract from Three where the charging port doesn’t accommodate a USBc cable at all. It marks three weeks and six days since I registered the issue, and I’m still sat here, 20 working days later, with a broken phone in a box waiting for a replacement. A month, where Three have said nothing in nearly ten hours of phone calls but ‘just wait’. I’m now absolutely certain that this is some sort of a joke.

Hello there.

Welcome to the Three Community.

That's not what you want after getting a new phone. If a device is faulty, an exchange would normally be arranged for the device, and this is normally done within a day or so. It's possible that it's taking longer with your phone since quite a few of the iPhone 16 models are still on back order, which might explain why the team is asking you to wait.

As Geluk mentioned, you should be able to use the Wireless charging feature of the phone so that you can continue to use it for now while waiting for the replacement.

Pete.

Just get a compatible cable or use wireless charging feature.
