Broadband contract ending the end of the Nov, how the bill will be calculated

Trista109
Fledgling

My minimum term ends on Nov 27, and I'm not planning renew it (already inform support).
Direct debit taken out the bill on 21st each month.

My question is:
I just paid the bill on Oct 21 for the period of Sep 2 - Oct 1, and my Three dashboard shows this is the Oct bill.
Is that mean the money I pay on 21st each month, is for the previous month usage?
Support  told me that I will have my final bill on Dec 2, before that, how many times left that I need to pay for the bill?

Hi @Trista109,

If your bill cycle is the 2nd-1st, your monthly airtime charge paid on the 21st would be covering from the 2nd October till the 1st November, and any usage charges (If you made a premium/international call/text, or used Three Pay to buy something online for example) are 2nd September till 1st October on that same bill. So airtime is one month forward of the bill date, and usage is one month previous.

Assuming you've given notice for your line to cancel on the 27th of November, you'll have a payment due on the 21st of November. Then when we produce the bill in December, that will check if you have any usage charges to pay. If not, you'd expect a small refund for the 28th November till 1st December charges.

I hope this helps, I just need to add that as this is a public forum, we don't access customer accounts/data to give these answers. I've answered based on the info you've supplied about your bill periods, minimum term, and payment dates.

Thanks,
Jonathan
