Good morning, i was denied of a phone contract because of credit scores that was 4 months ago. I want to re apply again but i want to know if i stand a chance if i pay the highest or higher upfront cost.

Unfortunately I don’t think the credit check takes account of any upfront payment although you’d think it would. You’ll pass or fail regardless because the check takes into account your perceived creditworthiness not any upfront payment arrangement with Three.

Not sure this is correct. Paying part upfront is not seen as a gesture of goodwill but is a reduction in the risk being taken by the lender.

That’s right but the lessening of the risk is not presented to Equifax and the like. I said in my post that you’d think it would make it easier to pass for obvious reasons but the decision is based primarily on the resultant credit check with the upfront payment merely lessening the monthly commitment of the prospective customer.
