I have a huawei 1221 and am trying to re-register after the app upgrade. After verifying my email address it asks me for a one time passcode which has been sent by text - to the huaweii. I can’t retrieve texts and need the passcode emailed to me instead

Hi @SN1,
Sorry this is a 2 factor authentication step, so in this case the code does need to be sent via text. If we're discussing a MiFi or USB modem these usually still support text. You'd need to connect to the router/modem admin in a browser then look for a text or SMS option. We're limited in the support we can give for devices we've never supplied but hopefully you can find more info about this online.
If all else fails you may need to pop the SIM in a phone temporarily.
