Set up outdoor router using Three SIM data-only card

Fledgling

I have an EZR34T outdoor modem/router and want to use my Three data-only SIM card in it.  I have used the same card in other modems and I am confident it works as it should.  The router recognises the card (i.e. displays the IMEI number) and there is definitely a connection to the carrier as it displays the reception signal strength and SNR data.  Problem is, there is no connection to the internet.

When setting up the APN, I have tried 3internet and three.co.uk.  The additional options I have are:

PIN (which I leave blank)

PAP/CHAP username & PAP/CHAP password (again, left blank)

Authentication type: (options are PAP/CHAP (both); PAP; CHAP; NONE) I have shown NONE as that is what my Three 5G router uses and that works just fine.

IP Connection type: (options are IPv4 only; IPv6 only; IPv4/IPv6 (both - defaults to IPV4; custom) I have tried each of these settings.

I have set the language to GB English and timezone to Europe/London.  The modem displays the correct time.

Are there other settings (either APN or elsewhere) I am overlooking that would enable connection to the internet?

Many thanks for your help with this.

SIM should populate with correct settings- don't change them!

Reset router by using paperclip.

Check 3 NETWORK COVERAGE page for your postcode.

Thank you for the suggestions, Geluk.

I have several devices that use a 3 SIM card and each work well at home, so I don't think signal strength is the issue.

I have tried just leaving all the fields blank - that just threw up a 'device not found' error message.

I have done a full factory reset of the modem/router and updated the firmware - no further forward

All the best, JusByf
