The merger has been approved about 2 months ago, but I haven’t heard any updates since the approval. What will be happening after and will the network be changed this year? Will we be able to use Vodafone’s masts and vice versa? Will we be getting visual voicemail? Will we be getting 5G standalone? Will Vodafone get RCS messaging?

Hi @Anonymous,
The merger between Three UK and Vodafone UK has been approved subject to certain conditions but for now we remain 2 separate companies. There are no changes to your terms and conditions or the way you contact us.
If you want more information, please visit: https://three.co.uk/merger
Thanks,
Jonathan

It says legal completion will be the first half of 2025. Does this mean by then it will be one company?

That will happen a long way in the future, but you can be sure the bean counters will be seeing how many masts can be shut down where they are overlapping; so don't expect massive improvements in coverage. Mergers are driven by the potential cost savings!
