5G for one day... now back to normal

Watershed71
Fledgling

I live in Forest Hill, SE London and have always had 2 bars of 4g generally. Not good.
Yesterday though I had full 5 bars of 5G...
It's now back to the usual rubbish service.
I did notice a week or so ago people working on the masts on top of a nearby building so perhaps 5G is coming and yesterday was just a test.
Anyone got any ideas or info?

Hello.

It's a possibility, 5G coverage is being expanded at a fast rate, so perhaps you'll be seeing that more often their in future. There's no way to determine how long that might take at the moment though. You can either keep an eye on the phone to monitor for changes, or check the coverage checker on the Three page to see when the info is updated.
