Changing network provider while still paying contract

Am I able to change my network provider while still paying for the same phone contract with three?

Hey @SPECLAN13,

My understanding is that you're referring to switching your number to another network, but continuing with your current device agreement with Three?

If so, you would be able to do this, as they are separate agreements. The device payments would continue as they are.

You can find more info on obtaining a PAC here

Thanks,
Michael

Morning Michael, So my Sim deal has come to an end as its 24 months but my phone contract is 36 months. My sim contract has since come to an end, does this mean i can port my number and carry on paying my monthly Direct Debit with Three for my handset as i have roughly 8-9 months left on it ?

Hi there @Kemp,

That is correct 🙂

As the device plan is a separate agreement, you're welcome to switch elsewhere with a PAC for your airtime plan and continue paying off your device agreement as normal.

The device payments will automatically stop once you've made the final payment.

Thanks,
Michael

You would have to either continue paying Three AND your new provider, OR pay the Early Termination Charge to Three before moving to the new network. If you had two providers at the same time you would also have a second mobile number.
