My 4G data disconnects daily at 5:30pm. Today it started at 5:30am as well.
I assume this is to terminate open sessions but annoying.
This is new to me this week as I have been on 3G with no issues but signal was finally turned off at the end of September. I have 2G/3G inside the house but 4G only starts halfway down the street.
My 3G data was faster than 4G probably as I was one of the last users and 4G had throttling. Good enough to stream 720p as a sole user.
I have found 2 bars of 4G in the corner of an upstairs window at the opposite side of the house. I can now relay wi-fi to a tablet. I would rather not make frequent trips up & down stairs like getting the digit code to make this post.
My 24mth 3 contract is up next month and I get strong signals from EE & vodaF so have a way out but wonder if this is bothering others. Is it deliberate?
I would actually like a sleep function that turns off reception after say 80 mins, the only option is scheduling a daily repeating bedtime mode.

Hello, Tramper.
It's disappointing to hear you're having issues there with the connection. It's unclear why it would disconnect at a specific time each night. It could be network related, or it could be some kind of device issue. The Home Broadband Team would be the best ones to figure this out for you.
Hopefully they can identify what's happening, and put an end to the issue. If not, they can explore what the available options are.
Pete.
