Absolutely disgusting that they now charge you £5 a day while you’re abroad! When I picked this network to go with a years back, is was for not being charged while in another country! Now I’m being charged a daily charge this WILL be the last time I’m with three! I will be cancelling all my pay monthly contracts with them!
when I was on the live chat speaking to a manager, all he did was copy and paste answers back to me!!! Absolute embarrassment!!! Three has really gone down hill

We know that Go Roam has always been important to our customers and we'd hoped to retain this benefit free of charge. However, the possible variations and permutations in the underlying cost to us to provide the service makes it very hard for us to absorb the wholesale charges we face for the use of the service by our customers.
The new charge ensures that customers are clear on what to pay when using our services abroad, and only those who roam will pay for the service.
We really hope you'll still find Three great value. We’ve the UK’s fastest 5G network according to Ookla and 99% population coverage in addition to compelling deals. And we're always working on ways to bring our customers excellent value and better connectivity every day.
None of our customer service managers would be able to alter your contract in any way to avoid this new policy, but I'm really sorry it was such a disappointing conversation. Please do let us know if you've any other questions, and we'll our best to help you from here.
