As title says I've been a loyal 3 customer years. I pay a premium price on a SIM only deal here. They are now hiking bills every April. I pay for 5g network. I have a Google pixel on the latest firmware upgrade. I don't ever get 5g I get 4g (pop in ee sim I get 5g straight away). So I'm paying 5g rental and only ever recieving the legacy network. On top of that I.D mobile uses 3 mobile network and offer cheaper prices, as well as NO INCREASES and all the same plan other than it is cheaper. It is the same 5g network same 4g network same truly unlimited offer. Why do three think it's ok to treat loyal members like idiots?

Swings and roundabouts my friend. While I agree that Three's Pay As You Go plans are expensive,I believe they have a few perks, like Three rewards (discounts on products), coverage on the London Underground and better access to support, but I've never used them and don't think they are worth the extra price IMO.
On the other hand Three do have good deals on bundles (ie new phone/hub + calls,sms and data plans). So if you want a new device, it can be much cheaper on Three directly.
Personally, I use Smarty (owned by Three) on my personal phone, on a group plan with family members, which is a better fit for my needs (SIM only). But I use Three contracts for Home Broadband, which come up on deals at very reasonable monthly fees now and again.
