Hey @Mary,
I'm sorry to hear you've been unable to make/receive calls.
I'd recommend checking out How to ensure your phone is ready for the 3G switch off
If running through the steps provided doesn't resolve the issue, please let me know and I'll investigate further.
Thanks,
Kate

I've had same issue on 2 "3" network phones; both 4g, but now only work for texts.
3 CHAT advise it's down to local mast shutting off 3g band.
Put your postcode in here and see if same applies in your area;

No voice calls for me but OK outside in some areas.
It's been like this since the 3g turn-off.
Went to a local Three outlet and was told it's a known issue
and a sim card replacement may solve the problem.
It didn't.

It's the sim or phone, Three told me today it's the masts, they are getting reconfigured with no back in service date, so I was told to leave Three and use another network provider as a solution if I want to make and recieve calls.

Hello, Kb888.
That's not so good. Advising you to leave and go with another provider isn't the advice I'd expect the team to be giving out. I could understand if they were to advise in the short term that it might be worth getting a PAYG SIM from another provider so that you have access to some services while the work is being done.
That said, I don't know the extent of the issue the team identified, ad it's possible that the future fix date was too far away, and they may have offered the cancellation as a way of letting you know that you are not being held to the plan you're on because of the issues.
Whichever reason it was, I hope that you're able to get reconnected properly soon.
Pete.

Hi, thanks for your reply. If all the customers experiencing this issue would get a payg from another provider as a temp solution, would three reimburse the costs?? Many of us have been with Three for years because it was fair priced contracts, I personally don't want to leave Three as my current contract suits me but not having the basic function of making or taking calls is absolutely ridiculous for a network provider.

I'd be unable to confirm if that would be an option for anyone, I'm don't have access to the accounts or details surrounding the issue from a technical perspective. Your options would be discussed by a member of the support team who has the ability to do those things.
Pete.

I can't make or receive calls either. Are you in the London area?
