I have a very old contract with three, 20 years, and an advisor confirmed I have a block on my phone preventing me from using it abroad. Before he could fix the issue we were disconnected and every advisor I’ve spoken to since has said that it will work abroad (it doesn’t) and refuse to accept that a block was put on 20 years ago.

 

i need this sorting, I’m getting nowhere with the chat function, what can I do? How do I get this block removed so I can start using roaming? I’ve tried everything suggested and nothing works so there is definitely a block.

Hi Jonathan, this is exactly what is happening to me. I have spent hours on the phone with the chat team. I know there is an old block on my account as I remember putting it on there. But since the website changed I can no longer access that setting and haven't been able to roam for years. I am thinking of just leaving and going to another network as this is ridiculous now.

Surely you can remove the “block” via the My Three app ? If not raise a complaint via the Three homepage because there’s no reason why a roaming bar can’t be removed even if your account is so old it’s growing whiskers.
