Missed call text but no notification

Hello

ive just missed a call from the doctors, I got a text saying missed call but nothing appeared on my phone. I’ve got phone signal and full WiFi. It’s about an operation and a call I needed to take

How to fix? iPhone 16 pro - this isn’t this first time it’s happened either

Don't use APPLE,  but have you checked your device's CALL LOG; does call show there?

On Android's I see a MISSED CALL in such scenarios.

I have a 16 pro max and had a similar issue a few months ago. I had to ensure I didn’t have the setting where withheld numbers (some Drs withhold their numbers) were silenced. it was sorted by going into the phone settings and checking that particular menu. It wasn’t a network issue and this action sorted things.

I think the setting is called “silence unknown callers”!

Unfortunately I’d already done this and the setting isn’t switched on. Bizarre

Yes bizarre! My only suggestion would be to pop into your local Apple Store (if you have one near you) because I’d bet my next months pay it’s not a network issue.
