I have been with 3 for donkeys of years, I've had 5 or 6 phones with them over the years. I rarely ever make calls, I'm not very social, so this is only a problem a couple of times a year but recently I had to call the police in an emergency and they just couldent hear me. This has been a common theme across all of my phones (Samsung), I can hear them perfectly, they either can't hear me at all or they say I'm braking up. The common denominator is 3. Am I the only one with this issue (spoliers! I've read other posts and I'm not the only only one) is there a solution? I'd call customer service but they wouldn't be able to hear me...
Any insight would be appreciated.

Hi @Maramilitia,
Sorry to hear about this. I hope you were able to make contact with the emergency services in the end. If we're discussing an issue that is encountered infrequently then the best thing is to do some tests in order to try and establish any common factors.
For example, when you have been making these calls, is it always from the same location, such as a particular postcode? Are we showing we're aware of any issues on the Network Status and Coverage checker pages here?
One test that may help prove it's not an issue with the phone, for example a faulty mic, would be to make a call using an app such as Messenger or WhatsApp over Wi-Fi if possible. If the call is much clearer using a call over an App, that will help prove it's not an issue with the specific phone.
It may also be handy to try testing a couple of calls with a friend or family member at the same location as you, especially if you swap phones briefly for one of the test calls so you can hear the issue from the other perspective. The better you're able to describe the issue, the more likely the tech teams are to find a solution. For example, does your line seem really quiet, or is there interference, or is the audio really poor quality?
We can possibly give more troubleshooting ideas with this info, but if you think this is an issue with your line/account, then you can still get in touch, but we'd recommend to use webchat rather than calling if you don't have another line to use.
Thanks,
Jonathan
