So. I signed up with Three in 2020 as they had a deal on at the time. I've had to stay with them since then as my credit rating is low due to being made redundant and ill, hence I haven't applied for another network contract. I'm stuck with Three until my rating improves.
I've lived at three addresses in that time. One in a city. One in the remote countryside. One in a big town.
I work in a medium sized town.
My parents live in a small village.
Three counties. Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire
And my phone barely receives reliable signal in any of these places. I've had three phones during this time, different makes and models. Same network issues - highly laggy, "no internet", multiple call drop outs. My file with Three is full of complaints I've made. Over the years I've been offered various "we're sorry" but nothing ever improves. Three also wouldn't give me my file history as they couldn't find it. But when I went into a store and complained magically it appeared and the staff printed it so I have a record for Ofcom. It's beyond the usual expected network issues. It's general incompetence. An Ofcom issue essentially. Three treat customers and their own staff (who have to field the complaints) with contempt. So thanks for that, Three.

Did you get anywhere with Ofcom/etc? Massive overcongestion in my area (Ealing) and Three have done nothing about it in 18 months. Just want to hold them to account somehow - not interested in discounts/etc, but am just perplexed how more people don't complain/report problems. Can't even connect to WhatsApp to send text-only messages 😞
