Unable to recieve calls apart from 3 network

I've had the same number for around 15 years no problem, as of this morning I am unable to recieve any updates calls from other networks and landlines, after 3 hours on chat, a visit to the three store and on call to another person they've now said they will escalate the issue to within 48 hours, any suggestions please. I've done all of the usual things. Thanks

Thankyou so much for all the replies it went back to normal yesterday so not sure what happened but three are calling me today for an update

Hey Nicola1,

That's not great you're having issues with your calls. If the team have raised this for you, it most likely will be 48 hours for them to investigate what's going on. Let us know how you get on with this.

@Nicola1are you saying that you ported your number to Three? or are you saying that you have been with Three for 15 years and this morning you started having problems?

I've been with three around 8 years I think I was with tmobile before that but this is the first time it's happened today 🙄 😂

if this was the first in 8 years you are lucky... all of us here in the users forum have a fair share of occasions that we can moan about it

Because you contacted support over chat, I'd assume they check the status of the network for your post code (you can check here https://www.three.co.uk/support/network-and-coverage/coverage?tab=2 )

Do you still have the problem? Or what is not working: data? calls? sms?

Yeah they checked all of that even though I had already done the obvious 😂 I can make calls, send texts, use Internet etc just unable to recieve calls from certain networks and landlines

Can you receive calls and sms from Three network? But you cannot receive calls and sms from other networks?
if you could try and confirm the above would be great and pass it to Three support. Because you were with tmobile before, it makes me think if something (recently?) went wrong with your tmobile(now EE) portability record for your number.
