Cannot make or receive any phone calls

Rebecca5882
Fledgling

Hi, I moved location back in July and have always had sketchy signal. The last few weeks I am unable to make any phone calls or receive, I just get constant voicemail texts from 3 however have to walk into local town to be able to listen to these messages.

I have done numerous online chats to try and fix the issue however had no luck. I have an iPhone 15 and it is all up to date with updates. I only signed up to a new contract around a year ago however surely I can leave my contract for free due to not having any signal at home. I can’t even get signal walking outside my home I have to walk into the local town to be able to make or receive a phone call and have to rely on what’s app calling via WiFi. I have checked my postcode and it states it’s 4g and has no signal issues.

does anyone have any ideas, I have been a 3 customer for over 10 years but seems I will have to change network due to having no signal at home, I dread having to call emergency services as I will have to walk into town to be able to call someone or go to a neighbour and hope they are on a different network. Surely being in 2025 people should have phone signal? I am based in Kent and over an hour from central London.

many thanks

You can use WiFi calling at home. I too have an iPhone and make all my calls send and receive texts and go online whereas if I depended on a mobile signal Id be stuffed.

Really good point here @Paddiewack, an iPhone 15 should support Wi-Fi calling.

@Rebecca5882 sorry to hear that you've been having these issues with calls. Do you have no signal or is it a very weak one? I'd recommend to check Wi-Fi calling is definitely active in your settings. What error message, if any, are you seeing when you try to make a call from home?

Thanks,
Jonathan
