I've just found out that I can't ring my mobile from my virgin media landline phone. It goes straight to voicemail after ringing and says that my number is busy even though it isn't. I saw that there's another post with the same problem (My Virgin Media Landline wont connect to my 3 mobi... - Three Community - 24405) and I turned off the spam detection feature on my mobile but that didn't help. My landline is a BT phone and my mobile is a moto g84 5g.

Hi Pete thanks for the help. I put my issue into the quick chat assistant and it pointed me to the network coverage checker and that said "We're working on fixing an issue in this area at the moment. We're sorry for any disruption this may be causing."

Thanks for checking this out @Kirit, it does sound like a local network issue could be relevant here.
There could also be some sort of routing issue here where Virgin isn't correctly identifying where to send the call. This can particularly happen with numbers that have ported away from the network who originally supplied it, but there can be other reasons for this to happen too. Generally it's most effective to report this sort of issue to the provider you're trying to call from, to my understanding it's easier to trace the outgoing call than the incoming one if it's not connecting as expected.
It sounds like you've already checked for call screening, but in your phone app I'd recommend to check settings for Caller ID and spam, blocked numbers, and call screening just in case too, especially if Virgin confirm that the calls are being sent to Three as expected.
Please let us know how you get on if you get a chance to check out these suggestions.
Thanks,
Jonathan

I've rang Virgin Media support and they said they couldn't find any issue with the line. I've tried ringing other mobiles from my landline and they all go through with no problem and those mobiles are with different providers. I've turned off the settings in Caller ID and spam and Blocked numbers settings and didn't see any other options for call screening.

Did you try calling another user on the Three network to see if you could connect to them?
Pete.

No unfortunately I don't know anybody else on the three network to test it.

Have you tried calling your mobile with Wifi calling turned off?
Pete.

Hello there.
That's quite strange. If it's just from the Virgin Media landline that you're having the issue with, it might indicate that there's some kind of routing issue. It would be best to report the issue to the Support Team where it can be investigated.
Pete.
