Hi

i depend on WiFi calling as we have no signal. It worked fine, I went on holiday p, used an eSIM and since I came back a week ago, it hasn’t worked.

ive switched phone off and on, switched off WiFi calling and back on, can’t find VoLTE as mentioned in some posts. Phoned Three but they said it’s nothing to do with them.

It’s a iPhone 14.

any help?

thanks

There was an issue with a carrier update which has now been resolved. If you go into the settings menu general/about then scroll down to network provider and it should say Three 64.2. If it says Three 64.1 simply tap it and it should offer you an update. Accept the update and that will then solve your problem.

Hi there, I have the same problem as you do - I click on network provider which says Three 54.1, it changes to IMS Status   Voice & IMS, I click on that and it goes back to Network Provider Three 54.1.

Did you manage to resolve the issue?

I've just had a call back today and was eventually put through to a complaints operator who asked for time and gave my account a credit. I have had difficulty in explaining to them that it's wi-fi calling that's worked for 9 years and therefore not the mast that's the problem. There is an outage problem with the mast in my area. I'm beginning to think that the wi-fi carrier could be the problem. I use EE(old BT), whom do the other posters on this thread use. I will speak to them tomorrow using my landline as it's a Freephone number.

Mmm….can see you’re thinking but I can’t get wifi calling anywhere, no matter who the broadband is with. I’ve tried at several friends houses with various ones but no go. The common denominator is still Three….

I know that Tesco mobile doesn’t support wifi calling on older phones(which mine is) so my point is the mobile company is the one that controls this. I’m still pursuing with the executive team - will let you know.

BT sent me a replacement router but it's made no difference. Puzzling. What works sometimes and for a while is switching the phone off and on. I realise that this can't go on so I'm waiting to see whether you get any response from the hierarchy.

We had one too but it was no better! But my wifi calling doesn’t work with any router. Still in conversation with Three - will let you know

Thanks, I will also keep in touch. My phone is also an old iphone SE which Apple have stopped supporting but an operator there did speak to me.

No like Cymric 1951 not resolved yet. I had a heated argument with a decidedly obtuse customer service guy who after 15 mins of saying it was the mast issue (yawn!) then decided it was Apples fault. So I have written a snail mail complaint to the CEO and his executive team are looking into it…..

Oh and pink pigs are flying in the sky🤨🤨🤨…. I’m not holding my breath for a resolution.

No, but I make my weekly call to Three this afternoon and I'll report back.
