Hi

i depend on WiFi calling as we have no signal. It worked fine, I went on holiday p, used an eSIM and since I came back a week ago, it hasn’t worked.

ive switched phone off and on, switched off WiFi calling and back on, can’t find VoLTE as mentioned in some posts. Phoned Three but they said it’s nothing to do with them.

It’s a iPhone 14.

any help?

thanks

There was an issue with a carrier update which has now been resolved. If you go into the settings menu general/about then scroll down to network provider and it should say Three 64.2. If it says Three 64.1 simply tap it and it should offer you an update. Accept the update and that will then solve your problem.

Hi there,

I am having the same issue as above - calls going straight to voicemail when I am at home and Wi-Fi connected. Have poor reception at home so rely on Wi-Fi but missing important calls.
I actually bought a new phone as I thought the issue was with my old phone but the issue has persisted.
I checked as instructed above and actually have ‘three 65.0’ listed as my network provider. Any suggestions? Have also called three and gone through all of the suggestions they made to no avail. Interestingly they didn’t mention the solution suggested here which seems to have worked for some.

would appreciate any advice, thanks!

I have this same issue too. What area are u in? I’m in tower hamlets and my post code shows a service outage in my area on their network coverage checker. Three customer support said it’s an ongoing issue they’ve had for a while, they told me they’d update me but never did surprise surprise.

Does the issue happen on all Wifi networks? Which Wifi provider are you using?

Pete.

Hi @monjibza,

Sorry to hear this, so just to clarify calls are working fine when you have 4G/5G signal showing, but if you're on Wi-Fi calling what happens? Do the calls fail to connect, are you receiving call notifications, or can you explain a little more?

There was a Wi-Fi calling issue a few weeks ago, did you check out @Paddiewack's advice below to make sure your carrier settings have updated?

Thanks,
Jonathan

I have been having the same problem with no wi-fi calling after 8 years of working fine. I have followed your instructions and it says Three 50.1. When I tap it just changes to IMS Status   Voice & SMS. This is the first time I've used this forum so I don't know how it works. DW

It’s obvious that your carrier settlngs are out of date which is preventing you from using WiFi calling ! Normally when you tap on network provider if there’s an update (which there certainly is as we’re now up to Three 66.0) you are given the option to accept the new settings and away you go. My suggestion would be to reset your network settings which you can do from your phones menu. It should then restart with updated settings.
